Riding Mill WI is a friendly group of women of all ages and we have a membership
of 42 at the moment.
We are part of the Northumberland Federation of WI’s which is celebrating
its 90th birthday in 2009 and is an organisation just as vibrant and forward
looking today as when it started.
We meet on the first Thursday of every month (except August) in the
Parish Hall at 7.30 p.m. We have a speaker or some other interesting entertainment,
followed by a cup of tea and a chance to chat.
We have several outings a years; some day trips and some shorter trips. We
organise various fundraising events throughout the year, but generally it is
just a good excuse to meet with friends and have a good gossip.
It’s a chance to meet old friends and make new friends, so come along
to one of our meetings.
