Riding Mill Village Hall

The object of Riding Mill Village Hall is the provision and maintenance of the two Village Halls to use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Broomhaugh and Riding Mill. The Village Hall is a registered charity, number: 501316.

The Committee for the Development of the Parish Hall

In January 2006, this sub-committee was formed to develop the Parish Hall to make it fully accessible by all members of the public; to meet the needs of existing users; and to meet the foreseeable future needs of our community, within the constraints of site and budget.

The Millennium Hall, Church Lane, Riding Mill, NE44 6DR.

Built in 2000, this Hall provides modern facilities for smaller functions (up to 60 persons). It is fully accessible by the disabled; it is child-friendly; and has kitchen facilities.

Rates for Hire: For Parties, Dances and Weddings £75.00
For Children’s Parties (up to 8 pm) £40.00
For Other Functions £38.00
Special Rates are available for courses consisting of 6 or more regular sessions.

Riding Mill Parish Hall, Millfield Road, Riding Mill, NE44 6DJ.

In this Hall, there is a fully-fitted kitchen; an adjoining room (connected by hatch) – known as the Supper Room, and a large Hall catering for functions up to 200 persons, though dances are limited to 120 persons.

Hall with use of Kitchen £65.00
Hall and Supper Room with use of Kitchen £90.00
Parties and Dances £100.00
Weddings £120.00 (Extra days’ access time for preparation and dismantling charged at half price)
