NCC are planning to undertake a consultation on the Pre-Submission Core Strategy. To see the Draft submission document please click on the link below:

A number of drop-in sessions have been arranged where residents can discuss the plan with planning officers. The dates and locations of these events are set out below:

Northumberland County Council are currently in the process of conducting a full canvass of the county. They are about to go to the “personal delivery” stage, whereby those electors who have not responded, will have a canvasser attend their address to hand deliver canvass documents. They are currently seeking canvassers in the west of the county and would be pleased to hear from any of your parishioners / staff/ members who may be interested in taking part. The rates of pay are £1 per form delivered in an urban setting and £1.50 for those in a rural setting.

If you are interested in being a canvasser please contact the Elections Office at County Hall on 01670 624811 for further details. Canvassers need to sign up by the 09^thof October in order to start this phase on the 16^th of October,
