Welcome to Riding Mill

Updated December 2020.

The Parish Council, the Village Hall Trust, the Church and other organisations in the village, continue to work together to provide a community response to Covid-19.  Our weekly meal service has now ended but should demand change this decision could be reviewed.  The Friday prescription collection service continues to operate.  We have a team of over 50 local volunteers who can assist in numerous ways from shopping to dog walking so, as ever, please just ask if you need anything.  We also have volunteers available to help residents who need a lift to vaccination appointments.

The dedicated number to call for assistance is still operating although it is likely that it will go to voicemail which is checked regularly throughout the day and someone will call you back.

Please try to call giving us 24 hours’ notice of the service you require.  We are not a health advisory line – if you have any health concerns please call the NHS line 111 or your local doctor.

Details of local suppliers have been circulated to all homes.
