Bus strikes – Do you need help to get around?

A number of residents have offered to provide lifts to people without transport during the bus strike e.g. for a doctor’s appointment or a lift to Hexham for shopping.  If you or someone you know needs travel assistance, please get in touch (682348/ridingmillclerk@gmail.com) and we will try to help.

Referendum Result

After much work by residents and councillors, I am pleased to confirm that the Broomhaugh & Riding Neighbourhood Plan was successful at Referendum yesterday.  It now carries full weight in future planning decisions, so far as it is material to the application.
